Fantastico vs. InstallaTron
 We have replaced Fantastico with InstallaTron. InstallaTron offers 50+ auto-install web applications.
InstallaTron offers some great web applications that Fantastico does not include (i.e. Magento Cart). InstallaTron installs and uninstalls applications a lot cleaner and more efficiently. It also updates/patches applications a lot faster as updates become available. End users will get notices on application updates when available, and some will update automatically. All Fantastico applications have been successfully imported into InstallaTron.
